    Just as a matter of interest.......how has Middleton pools found its way into the West Midlands forum when part of it is in Warks and the rest of it in Staffs?

    The reserve is looking good now, today was the first time I've been for ages. I don't know about the fox, the immature LBB Gull was causing havoc among the nesting Black-heads.

    You got mail :t: Two Blackwits took off from Jubilee wetland and came down on North pit. Dunlin in transitional plumage feeding with at least 6 LR Plovers on Jubilee wetland. Ten Common Terns also present.

    Was that the man at work yesterday? He had something like Willow on the side of his vehicle. That reserve will be superb when the work is finished. There was a Clouded Yellow butterfly over the reeds beside the bird feeders yesterday. No sign today, but several LRP's, Black-tailed Godwits...
