    Quiet first thing this morning, sanderlings had disappeared and only sandpiper was a lone common. Highlight of the visit was a fly over cuckoo as I headed back towards Pea Bridge.

    Visit this morning for a couple of hours from 6.00 onwards produced over 40 species, highlights being singles of Snipe, Green Sandpiper and LR Ringed Plover, plus a Kingfisher flying down the new stream. Noted one of Adult GC Grebes had juvenile with it that looked too young to have flown in.

    Quiet this morning when I was down first thing, with 3 LR Plovers being the highlight, about 25 Lapwing spread around the edge of the workings and two Little Egrets.     The four Ringed plovers were still present this morning first thing along with a single LRP and Common Sandpiper. A Garden Warbler in the woods together with the normal Blackcaps, Whitethroat and Chiff Chaff and Reed Warbler singing in the reed bed. Still trying to catch up with the Nightingale...

    Visit from 6.45 to 9.00 produced 2 LR Plovers and a Dunlin, couldn't locate the BT Godwit though. Both pairs of Pintail still present also 2 Chiffchaff by the stream and two Water Rail in the reed bed. Duck numbers on a par with earlier in the week. Jon
