    Cheers, Steve. Sounds like you must have been knackered at the end even if your lad wasn't!! I agree with you about the Museum and Winter Gardens ... they made a decent job of it. It's a nice place for a wander round on a miserable afternoon. Just shows, even Sunderland gets thing right...

    What time were you there, Steve? My daughter and I went down to the Museum and Winter Gardens this afternoon to see the Writers of Influence exhibition. As we were in the area we had a walk around the lake in the hope of seeing the mandarin, but there was no sign. This was at about 1.30 pm...
