    Not prepared to give exact location for Tawny Owls. One Kingfisher along brook between cottage and Coopers mill, and one further up at the Fred Dale reserve.

    Dowles brook, Lodge Hill farm and Coopers mill area this morning: 2 Dipper 2 Grey Wagtail 2 Kingfisher 10 Wood Warblers 2 Buzzards 3 Green Woodpeckers 2 Tawny Owls (adult and juvenile) 6 Willow Warblers 20+ Garden Warblers 6 Blackcaps

    There are sometimes a few Redstarts in trees at the edge of Knowles mill coppice near Lodge Hill farm. Thats the most regular place Ive seen them over the years.

    One Green Woodpecker around Lodge Hill farm, the other from the area on the right, along the railway walk back towards the parking area.

    Mon 10th June, 1.30pm - 4.15pm 2 Redstarts 2 Wood Warblers 1 Grey Wagtail 8 GS Woodpeckers (inc 1 juvenile) 2 Green Woodpeckers 4 Willow Warblers 10+ Chiffchaffs And not a single Pied Flycatcher, nor any Dippers.
