    Visit this morning produced 3 Pied Flycatchers( 2 male, 1 female), Wood Warblers in good numbers, 1 male Redstart, 4+ Tree Pipit, 2 Marsh Tits, 2 Garden Warblers, good numbers of Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap, 3+ Grey Wagtails, 1 Dipper, 2 swallow, 6 House Martin. Didn't see Cuckoo but...

    I saw the Wood Warblers in Knowles Coppice from the path not far from where you enter it from the old railway line. The Pied Flycatcher was here as well. The tree pipits were on the other side of the railway line (going away from Dowles Brook) in the Oak tree's. I only saw them in one place...

    Nice long stroll round the Wyre Forest today produced 1 male Pied Flycatcher, Wood Warblers, Tree Pipit, 1 male Cuckoo, garden warblers and Blackcaps a plenty, Dipper, Grey Wagtail,, male and female Mandarin at nest hole plus the usual suspects. Sadly didn't manage to see any Redstart again...

    Dowles Brook, Wyre Forest

    Had my first visit to the Wyre Forest for about 15 years today. Highlights included plenty of Wood Warbler, 1 female Pied Flycatcher, Dipper, Tree Pipit's with nest material, Grey Wagtail, Nuthatch and Cuckoo . Amazed at just how many Song Thrushes I saw - seems they are increasing everywhere...
