    I'm in the Wire Forest regularly and i've never seen a Willow Tit, but I've seen plenty of Marsh Tits. The best person to enquire of would be the county recorders.

    Dipper and Kingfisher on the brook today, Housemartins, Swallows and at least 10 Swift. Great view of a Cuckoo flying in to the top of a tree and calling.     Two Dippers on the brook today fighting, one looked asif it's feathering had pale edges. Perhaps one of this years young being driven off. Also a flock of Siskins in an Alder. Other than that it was all Tits, Robins and Blackbirds. Jackie

    A good day in the forest yesterday, with plenty of the usual woodland birds, plus 8 Brambling, Marsh Tit, and Lesser Spotted Woody at Lodge Hill farm. I also saw 2 Muntjac and a small group of Fallow Deer, and later on a Fox as well. Jackie

    2 Hawfinch there again today. Keith, the Orchard/meadow is directly over the bridge, a footpath runs uphill from the farm, over the bridge and through the meadow. Lots of Yellow Ant hills. Jackie

    Saw them at Wimperhill, off the main track, where the tributary stream runs down in to Dowles Brook. There's a narrow muddy little track running above the stream and plenty of Conifers. Jackie
