    Shieldbugs.

    Hi, thanks. I also though it looked like hawthorn but the previous ones were all about 14mm in length but this was tiny (9mm). Perhaps it is just a runt Regards, Jamie

    Hi, found the following in the trap this am which is a lot larger than the Green Birches (l approx 14mm). Is it Hawthorn Shieldbug as this would be my first? Regards, Jamie

    Shieldbugs.

    Hi, about 5 shield bugs around the garden moth traps this morning. Here is a picture of one. I guess from above it is Hawthorne or Birch but not sure how to separate. If you let me know I will try to id them in future Thanks, Jamie

    Hi, below taken Stockton 5th August. I get a few shieldbugs but this is the first I have attempted (it was rather active) to photograph. I guess it is forest sheldbug from above post? Regards, Jamie
