    Sedgeletch area After this mornings downpours, the sun eventually came out 4Red Admiral, 3Comma, 4Speckled Wood, 1Small Totoiseshell, a Migrant Hawker & several Red Darters including a pair flying 'in tandem'.

    saw a couple of moths out feeding on flowers nr Dawdon this afternoon 2 types doing this, but only managed to photo 1 of them lots of very fresh Red Admirals sev Speckled Woods, Tortoiseshells 2 each of Peacock & Common Blue phone-scoped a Painted Lady

    Photographed this example of Hobby food ;) (phone held to scope) at Allans pool, Bish Midd. Within half an hour it was being eaten in mid air by a Hobby just above my head :eek!:

    seen Glow worm at Hawthorn & a couple of spots around Hamsterley forest --------------------------------------------------------------------- spent a morning trying to find b'flys etc for step daughter to photograph a bit breezy & we had trouble finding owt that would keep still ! we thought...
