    Hi Owen, "Birds of East Asia" by Mark Brazil is the book you have to go after. I must also point out that Tom has authored his own book on Jinshitan. Second edition will be in decks soon which i'm eagerly waiting for.

    As Gretchen said, too many male Bluetails you have now. In post #1033, after looking at those Kentish Plover flock for few dozen times, still could not find the Dunlin. Do you have Dunlin among them?

    Good photos even in bad light. Tom, how is the oriental greenfinches up there for you? Last year i had good no's in Shanghai but this year haven't seen them yet.
