    Yesterday pm and today am and pm...a young Cormorant on the canal just past the Walsall spur.....and pm a Kingfisher on the river by Bromfield bridge canal bridge...

    Took the Canon with me to work (Thursday) hoping that all yesterdays birds were about again...No Kestrel but a bonus 3 Female Goosander.....they took off again and I couldnt get one in the frame...lol

    Springlike on the canal on my walk home from work with 3 pairs of Canada geese......with one pair looking to nest build out in the open. A Kestrel hovered almost above me and made me almost miss the 2 Goosander sitting in the reeds.....as usual they got the hell out of there as I got level with...

    Brandon way / Canalside...... On the way to work around 10.45 along the canal the Heron was lying low ...but watching me. The usual Mallard - Coot and roadrunner Moorhen were going about there business as I was taking snaps when all of a sudden a Buzzard soared over the trees and turned above...

    Cheers Yam Yam.....while on the canal bridge around 10.30 at Oldbury road yesterday a Kestrel was using the thermals with bit of hovering and floated off towards Greets green Park. Today same place and time Cormorant came up canal over my head then 360 turn before going back up towards...

    Keep seeing a couple of Cormorants flying around and landing on Smethwick Pumping Station Tower while passing on the train.......might be youngsters ...could they have come from the Sheepwash.

    Hi there everyone in the Black Country......to save making a new thread would it be O.K. to put any sightings I see on this one. I cannot use a car now for health reasons and have just started work again but back at the depot I was at for 17 years before going to Four Ashes. I can only get here...

    No pics of the Pochard in Great Barr...as I could not find a way into the b***** place.Green fences all around it. Went off to swan Pool for the Diver again instead but it kept in the middle and the water was like a mill pond and the light brilliant .....some days are always like this....LOL...

    Hi Baggieshep.....I worked for 18 years on the Oldbury Road (bottom Right on map) and di manage to see the Wash just once....I was told to park and enter by the Red Pub area and the area intimidated me so I never returned. From your description was the Egret at the place I have circled and can...
