    Hi Keith, Male White Wagtails are pretty straightforward in spring - with clean grey back (no smudgy dark areas) - clearly demarked from the black head on the nape, grey rump and bright white flanks. Females are more tricky but look for the clean white flanks on these and general 'cleaner'...
