    Again lovely use of coloured pencils and some unusual angles, especially like the greenfinch top left, beautifully done.

    Never liked using oils meself but looks like you can turn your hand to any medium Arthur, no criticism of your painting but maybe a hint of shadow underfoot might just be the finishing touch.

    You've captured the moment beautifully with the redshank Arthur, looks to me like it's just seen the observer and is about to fly off.

    Not to mention the added difficulty of having drawn the feet in as well. Really good pic though, particularly like the colouring and shading of the birds underparts.
