    This weekend was the Swiss Birdrace with 20 teams racing around to see as many species as possible. I joined a team with Adrian and Urs and we managed to find 120 species which puts us up to third place. The winners broke the record with 132 species. Some new ones for me involved: 03/09/2010...

    17/08/2010 341: Ferruginous Duck (forgot this one earlier) 29/08/2010 342: White-winged Snowfinch 343: Ptarmigan Went to Cassonsgrat today, snow in the morning and very cold! 55 Snowfinches were there, some Alpine Accentors, 8 Ptarmigans and 1 juvenile Dotterel.

    Good day today: 14/08/2010 338: White-winged Tern 339: Little Crake The tern was a juvenile near Yverdon, the crake a female at Klingnauer Stausee (together with 5 Spotted Crakes and a Water Rail).
