    I always enjoy the loop around the Sleat Peninsula by there Owen. Kev and I found Skye’s 1st Ring-necked Duck by there and we’ve had Goldies. I think the woods are good for Warblers at certain times of the year. Gordon’s book would give you some good ideas. Rich

    I’m trying to get to grips with the tier system John, and if 2 families can stay in a holiday cottage. We’d booked Mull for New Year but that would be for 3 families which from what I can see is a total no go. Particularly with it being under Tier 2.

    Hi Andrew. Quite a few people have had success at Gruinard Bay. If my geography is correct its just North of Poolewe. Don't forget to scan Gruinard Island as well. I've seen them off Shieldaig which is c45 mins south of Poolewe. Good luck. Rich

    Stonechats, Cuckoos and Sandpipers on the single track road down to the ferry as well RW. Rock Doves from where the ferry departs. Unfortunately the sailing was cancelled when we were there due to rough seas. Going to try again on the 29th of May. Good luck, Rich
