    Might be better asking about Aberdeen stuff in the Aberdeen thread... But anyway, the King Eider has been seen on the Ythan Estuary (I think mostly downstream of the road bridge i.e. near Newburgh) but has also been seen at Blackdog/ Murcar. It seems to move fairly regularly between the two...

    There are no accepted records of Least Sandpiper for Orkney, at least as far as I can find. This list of birds wasn't from Stronsay was it ;)?

    Weather looks interesting, if slightly hard work. If I was on Tiree I'd definitely be trying to do some seawatching and then would be looking for waders and wildfowl once the weather has cleared a bit. Might even be worth checking the bushes.

    Do you mean Red-necked Phalarope? Grey would just be a casual visitor at that time of year (and a fairly unlikely one).
