    Snow bunting, Worcester Beacon Nov 5th Sorry for the late posting but find attached photos of five Snow Bunting from just below the Worcester Beacon last Wednesday. I was able to get within 2 metres of the small flock.

    Mandarin Duck A first for Cofton Reservoir as far as I know. A Mandarin flew in this lunchtime. It eventually swam to the shore and started eating grass. Not a ringed bird.

    Inappropriate anywhere in public according to the Woodland Trust guy who waited for us to get back to our car and leave before he locked the barrier.

    YBW Uffmoor Wood The YBW was showing in holly at the end of the main path this morning. Worth noting that there is now only road parking as the car park has been closed because of "inappropriate after-dark behaviour" !

    Common Crossbills, Lickey Hills, this morning I bumped into Keithr in the Lickies at about 9.30 this morning and we had excellent views of about 15 Common Crossbills for about 15 mins on Cofton Hill. A flock of Redwing was also present.
