    Was going to post this on the Croome thread but it said that it was 200 days old so was not allowed. Had a family day out at Croome today. In the garden there was a spotted flycatcher. Then as we walked around the lake had the pleasure of watching 2 Hobbies hunting over the lake. On several...

    was at Worcester Woods Country Park this afternoon whilst my wife had a hospital appointment and got a sighting of 2 redstarts.

    Had a pleasant walk around Croome Park this morning 36 species of bird in a couple of hours. Of note there were incredible numbers of fieldfares and redwings. there was also 6 herons, 100 canada geese, a snipe and a stonechat.

    Had a great afternoon of "non" birding at Croome this afternoon. Had a great view of a Whinchat. In addition, had a good sighting of a little owl.
