    Essington Quarry Pool this afternoon 2 Wheatears, 2 Swallows,8 Sand Martin ,Willow Warbler and Blackcap .

    31st not exactly scarce or rare but 2 Snipe and a drake Pintail ,amongst quite large numbers of regular duck,at Essington quite good records for our "small puddle".

    Managed to get a lift up to Gailey tonight, so got to see the Red-necked Grebe and the Little Gull ,been a long time since been there never saw it with a shore line before!

    14th sept ,at Essington Staffs. 1 very late Swift travelling with 10 House Martins, also Hobby and 2 Little Owls
