    We were almost put off by the FCO advice as well but ended up going to Tobago & had no regrets.     I would consider two options: 1) Spend the 2nd week on Tobago. The Asa Wright Centre will organize transport from the AWC to the airport & the inter-island shuttle is cheap & takes only 20-30 mins in the air.
