    Wyver Lane Nature Reserve (DWT)

Well that is good news as having returned today after missing for some time, due to ill health, it was most enjoyable and would be a great shame to ruin an excellent little reserve. I shall rejoin and then have my chance to chip in my views. Why does it need to be opened and viewing from the...

Dave, that is really good of you. Whilst not ideal at least it goes some of the way to maintaining the hide. Thanks for you efforts, I may be along tomorrow. Cheers, Phil

Dave, just plain blinkered stupidity in my eyes. I lived and worked on a Scottish island and even there vandalism took place so what chance here?

    Wyver Lane Nature Reserve (DWT)

Unbelievable! I shall not be renewing my membership purely for them to replace/repair the hide when it is vandalised! Phil

First visit this year, due to ill health. Found out when tried wrong code on hide door padlock! Pleasant 90 minutes with sightings recorded in the book. Highlight was male mandarin. As walked back to car 3 mistle thrushes flew over and a sparrowhawk passed on a mission! Memo to self, make more...

I've just received my regular magazines etc from my membership. Interesting to look at the Annual Review. Has wrong CEO detailed! Considering the amount of assets (cash and staff) the Trust holds its surprising that habitat management appears to have slipped. Staff costs would be interesting...

    Wyver Lane Nature Reserve (DWT)

From the post I despair. I guess my prime time for visits to Wyver is autumn/winter when vegetation has died down. Hopefully will be able to start going agin this coming 'season' if health improves. Reading the posts maybe someone from DWT is on the forum and could take the feedback on board...

    Wyver Lane Nature Reserve (DWT)

No like buttons on BF! Some grazing to maintain pastures and habitation is necessary but not wholesale blanketing the area and ignoring everything around. I would have thought they employed people who studied within this field. My knowledge is just practical from working on a reserve for some...

    Wyver Lane Nature Reserve (DWT)

All this is very sad to hear. Health issues have limited my visits (well actually stopped) to reserves for the last 6 months. Missed winter and spring at Wyver sadly. From all the reports perhaps I've not missed much. I, for one, am certainly thinking about my membership going forward if the...
