    And the rest, I met some people from the butterfly consevation society there today, they surveyed the site all day and came up with a count of close to 800 !! with a ratio of 10:1 males to females. A fabulous sight indeed

    I saw a lot of Wall Browns today at Holkham, burnham mkt area and Burnham Norton marshes. Normally I see a couple a year. Today I must have seen at least 30. I thought they had declined in recent years, has anyone else noticed an increase this year ?

    Around Shotesham today we saw Small Copper, Small Tortoiseshell, painted lady and Peacock. Horsey - one very fresh looking dead Pained Lady in the dunes
