    Please help me ID this hawk, Missouri, USA

    Thank you Larry. I appreciate the assistance. I sort of leaned toward the Harlan's Hawk, but my bird looked a lot darker than what I could find in any of my books. They all showed some white on the breast. Dickie

    Please help me ID this hawk, Missouri, USA

    Could someone help me identify this hawk? I believe it is one of the Red-Tailed Hawks but looking in my bird books I can not match up the white eye, yellow legs, undertail coloring and bands. Thank you Dickie Byrd
