And still moving though Record numbers though my garden last 3 weekends with few Goldfinch and Redpolls mixed in, the most Siskins I had seen befor last few weekends in my garden at same time was 8! few poor pics of them at my feeders today below MIKE -

Interesting I have over last two weekends had large numbers of Siskins though my garden on nyjer feeders one flock of 100+ birds feeding on feeders on the ground and in nearby trees plus these were joined by Redpolls last week end best count 30 seen others herd in trees and looks as if they... -

Any one visiting Frodsham marsh in near future I would certainly recommend checking though any Goldfinch Linnet flocks that are there I checked though a small group today and found 8 goldfinch's 5 linnets and 2 twite may well be a few more about some of the mixed flocks are near to 100 or so... -

Smew has been there for 4 weeks or more on Birchwood pool mainly and shows well at times waxwings have been about for a week or 2 so you have very good chance of these 2 as for the gluc Sunday not the best time to look for gulls at Moore as the tip is closed for bitten late on in afternoon best... -

Spent wet afternoon round frodsham marsh to day 70+ Black Tail Godwits 40+ Golden Plover 5 Avocet 2 displaying few Grey Plover and Dunlin, Hen Harrier female, on No 6 till about 3.40 when all but one godwit and Avocets took flight. Over on No 3 by marsh farm 4 Wheatears in Field with all ewes... -
