    The Flamingo recently seen in Cheshire was last spotted by a friend of mine in Middlewich (M6 Junction 18) on Saturday the 23rd of July... I have added a couple of his images... he also captured a video clip.

    The reedbed viewed from the hide over looking the mere is where the Bittern was. I saw it at the first open space to the right where the reeds end (obvious) but down at the boathouse a 100yds down the path from the hide. Good luck. :t:

    Called in at Budworth Mere on the way home tonight and from the hide in Marbury CP watched four Black Terns for 15 mins or so... Spectacular feeders it made my day.

    Can you give me directions to the viewing site at Frodsham. I have been to Frodsham before but was intimidated by the narrow lanes and the lack of safe parking.

    Curlew Sandpipers, Curlew, Golden Plover, Snipe, Black-t Godwits. Little Ringed Plover, Lapwings, Canada Geese, Graylags, Cormorants, Starlings, Wagtails (pied in my lifetime) and the usual pair of Black Swans in my half hour at Nuemanns Flash this lunchtime.

    Secret Britain on BBC1 tonight featured Neumanns Flash and Anderton in Northwich tonight with some good aerial shots of the area. It may be available to watch on the BBC IPLAYER website for those that missed it.
