Cheshire And Wirral Birding: Hills, Lowland and Coast

Which day for the high tide this weekend? For the last one I went with the tide forecast from the BBC and arrived on the Monday. Needless to say it did quite get to the wall, infact it missed the wall by about 25metres! Also there must be another place along that area other than the Bath House...

Cheshire And Wirral Birding: Hills, Lowland and Coast

My two pence worth. Air pressure is due to the weight of the air on a given area. High pressure equates to a greater weight of air pushing down. Now when a tide moves in a hugh amount of air has to be forced away as the water in the incoming tide takes up the space originally occupied by the...

That is just totally over the top! If that is going on day after day, it must surely have a detrimental effect on the bird life initially from the disturbance and secondly by affecting the food chain. Can't believe its been sanctioned. I think there are around 50 vehicles and about 190 people...

Hi there one and all, what's the situation with Connah's Quay Reserve? Is there any access? I often come across a reference to the area, is there supposed to be an "rspb" reserve next door at Oakenholt. The reason for the lower case is that it doen't seem to figure on the RSPB site. Thanks...
