    They were definitely Goosanders. I knew they were Goosanders but I wrote Mergansers!! Will edit post.

    The BNG did not show today but we had excellent views of several Bullfinches. Also had a Willow Tit on the feeder and plenty of Blackcaps. Great views of a Green Sandpiper and several Goosanders, not Mergansers as I first wrote, also helped to make the day special.

    A group from Deeside Naturalists Society is going on Saturday. The leader, who did a recce the other day, had several bullfinches on a feeder. I'm hoping for Redpoll amongst others. Does anyone have any birding info re Pennington at the moment? Many thanks.
