    take ya bins to wrabness you can see all 3 scoter! and on a sunny day you might be able to tell em apart :)

    I saw 2 Velvets today on the falling tide from Wrabness parked in church road near the viewpoint information board walked down to the shore birds were straight out about mid stream the Surf Scoter was blooming long walk upstream from there mind! Also saw the Common Scoter,Black-necked Grebe...

    my identity remains top secret :) I saw a saker type falcon at abberton a couple of years ago which i think was an escape.these people seem very careless with their birds!!! So can't be ruled out. Be interesting to see if it hangs about Cheers

    saker i was at abberton reservoir today and believe i saw the essex saker a large brown falcon flew across the reservoir putting up the lapwings,corvids ducks etc it flew over my head with a classic falcon shape my first thought was a chunky peregrine however it was really brown, it flew away...

    nice one viv i think i've read on here that with red kites it's the tag colour that's important i think they have one on each wing. one tells you where, the other tells you what year the bird was born in cheers
