    Found a GSW nest in very safe (walled garden with barbed wire on top), hidden (nest hole in ivy) location, whilst walking the dog last night. Heard the young ones getting fed and thought it maybe Blue/Great Tits. Saw a GSW and thought this could be interesting and then one bird left the nest...

    Buzzard being mobbed by two crows over Temple Park. They flew off towards Cleadon Village.

    Stopped off at Testos Pond. 3 blokes really interested in the fish. Then had a look myself. 1 large trout and at least 5/6 koi carp! All a good size but nowhere near as big (2/3s as long and 1/2 the width as the one that was at Tilesheds Pond). Hopefully, the men will come back to take hem out?!?!

    Defo ring necked parakeets. Two more have just flew over the garden on their way to Temple Park.

    I'm going to try and get the carp taken out. The lad who lives next door to me has a purpose built pond and he is goign to see if it is suitable for his pond.

    I haven't seen the Terrapin. A dog walker who pointed out the carp has seen it sunning itself on the bank where the reeds were cut back. It sounded a recent sighting maybe within the last two months.

    Hopefully the picture has attached ok? Massive Carp in Tilesheds pond. I wonder if that is what is driving the birds away or the Terrapin?

    Saw my first buzzard in Tyne and wear today down Follingsbury Lane. That and a weasel made my day.

    Sparrowhawk tried to take a young Magpie in the garden yesterday. The Spuggiehawk flew off when I went to take a picture. The Magpie was seriously hurt but staggered off into the undergrowth.

    Two large Skeins of Geese heading south at speed just now. Must have been 60 plus in one and 80 plus in the second. They're not daft are they?
