    Thanks guys ! I had a few hours there, it was high tide, not many birds around, though it was nice to see two Marsh Harriers. I think it was worth going just for the peace !

    Paramo

    I dont reckon much to wearing fleeces to keep warm, while in New Zealand I discovered merino baselayers, t-shirts, tank tops, etc. They provide plenty of warmth, and are not bulky, and if carrying alot of kit on a long outing, do not get iffy, like poly fleeces

    Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston

    I visited Brockholes recently, and I think I will leave it for a couple more years to mature before I go back. Birdlife was in short supply, but that may be down to screaming children ( not mine !)

    Using photos

    Hi Guys, I am no good with a camera, without a decent magnification either. I was wondering if I can use photos from this site for my Dissertation ? I will of course reference them, I wouldnt take credit for other peoples work Thanks Al
