    Had a look at the bristol lizard orchid site this morning. Could find no more than the 2 spikes already mentioned. Think it was 2 spikes last year ?     UK butterflies 2014

    A male orange tip yesterday on severnside. Great to see so many butterflies on the wing this weekend. lots more peacocks today , yesterday more small torts and a handful of brimstone both days. Another white today but too distant to confirm id. several comma's also today.

    Went to the Bristol lizard orchid site today. Found 3 today , all behind the barrier. Almost in full flower . Saw 2 or 3 other groups looking today . You can view them from the path and this photo was taken from the path.
