    Thanks for the detailed reply , I have purchased the tamron and it is the g2 version. And after looking at some photos in the gallery taken with this lens and the D7200 I have decided to take your advice . It seems a good combination, once again thanks for your input

    Hi could somebody please tell me where the best place to Park is at shawell. I went today and wasn't sure where to park , I ended up using a small pull in on the a5 not far from the pools. Did the job but it was dodgy trying to get out again. Managed to get adult yellow legged and the med gull.
