    Thanks Ed, interesting. How big (est.) was one year production batch? The EIIs arised 1999/2000 and if production ended 2002/2003 - it represents production run about 2000-3000 units per year for each type of EII (let's assume that were only 2x6000 units produced)? Jiri

    Unbelievable! Is my 8x32 SE really so old? When I purchased it (really new - in box, "never" opened) in mid 2008, it was already seven years old? No apparent effect of "some ageing" on rubber parts inside the "dark box" (e.g. eyecaps) etc. Jiri
