    well done russ i was up berry hill for an hour this afternoon only had a male and female wheatear in the white door paddock of any real note, just rewards for a man who leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit of berry hill rare birds... ouch bad joke alert i will get my coat....... kev.:t:

    not an expert but it does look like a meadow pipit and i think the other bird you saw and heard was perhaps a ring ouzel..i have just listened to its call on my lap top and it sounds like your description. kev

    hi guys i am informed that it is a small village called slobozia just south east of iasi we will be there 17th to 24 th of may during the day and sleeping in a hotel in iasi at night any help of local knowledge in that area would be appreciated eg what i might see and where. kind regards kev

    hi cristian please accept my apology i think you are correct with slobozia this is my first visit and i believe we are staying in iasi at night and travelling to slobozia each morning which i am told is close by,about 30/45 minutes drive away

    I HAD TO HAVE A DAY OFF WORK YESTERDAY AS MY WIFE WAS TAKEN INTO HOSPITAL ON SUN NIGHT WITH AN ASTHMA ATTACK ,WHATS THAT GOT TO DO WITH BIRDS I HEAR YOU ASK ,WELL I WENT OUTSIDE EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING AND CROSSED THE ROAD FROM A AND E AND STOOD WITH MY BACK AGAINST THE RAILINGS AT THE HOUSE...
