    Not a great picture but is this an american goshawk or coopers hawk? Washington state may 24.

    First of all, northern Goshawk is no more. It is either American or Eurasian Goshawk now. Secondly, if you are in the US for a longer period, then I would encourage you to get your hands on an older book called Hawks in Flight. Niels

    For your information: when a photo exceeds a certain size (probably in mpix, and I am not sure where the cutoff it) it will only show as a link and not as the actual photo being visible. A person with a large enough bandwidth can still see it by clicking the link. Niels
