THIS is how service should be...

Good stuff Chuck. I was one who was not on the Vortex bandwagon until about 6-8 months ago. The way Vortex took care of it's customers in light of the Liberty Optics meltdown, well, it was a first rate move that I doubt any other optics company would have done. The owner of Liberty Optics...

Product Review: The Sky Rover Banner Cloud 8 x 42 Binocular

If you took a poll of thousands upon thousands of US citizens, if asked what a couple means, 99.9% would say 2 regardless of what that freaking dictionary says. There are definitely some "alpha" owners who's noses are perpetually in the air.

    New midsized Razor UHDs

Where can I find the 8x32 for $1450? The UHD's have high class glass, and these specs look great.

Uhhh.........really? You can offer some good insight at times though, I'll admit.

Nice analysis Dennis. Well done. Thanks for the info.

Swarovski NL 8x42 vs Skyrover apo 8x42 sharpness contrast microcontrast etc

I'm sure "alpha brand bias" plays a role as well, at least somewhat.

Product Review: The Sky Rover Banner Cloud 8 x 42 Binocular

Thanks. I know nothing about the Sky Rover company, or whatever company is backing them. Do you see it as another potential Zen Ray, or is the Sky Rover company legit?

Product Review: The Sky Rover Banner Cloud 8 x 42 Binocular

Nice review Canip. I've been following that thread, as this binocular really has my interest, and I've never really been afraid of taking a chance (Tract, Maven, etc). You mention build quality not up to the premium Euro's, but how does it compare to others in it's $500 price range? I've...

Sky Rover Banner Cloud 8x42 APO Review

Plagerized from another site........ Sky Rover is a subdivision of United Optics. Binoculars, spotting scopes and telescopes are designed and fabricated there at the United Optics plant near Kunming (which I have just recently visited). There is no relation to the former Zen-Ray, whose...

Looked on your site for the GPO review, couldn't find it. What are your thoughts?

    New Geovid colours

That stands for Applied Ballistics, the ballistic program integrated in this Geovid bino. A $1200 Vortex Fury AB has had that for 2+ years already.

    which 10x42 : Nikon HG / GPO Passion HD / Maven B1.2 / Vortex Razor HD ?

That may be true, but the moral to the story is that the buyer's were left hanging and had it not been for Vortex stepping up and taking care of them, they would have been out of luck, and their money.

    which 10x42 : Nikon HG / GPO Passion HD / Maven B1.2 / Vortex Razor HD ?

Some guy named Scott owned Liberty Optics. He apparently ran a solid business until recently. Customers placed orders there, paid the bill, and the orders never got turned in to Vortex so the customer got hosed by Liberty. Vortex received numerous complaints about this so they stepped up to...

    which 10x42 : Nikon HG / GPO Passion HD / Maven B1.2 / Vortex Razor HD ?

Just snagged a Razor HD 10x42 from Cabelas at a net cost of $529. They are a steal at that price. After the way Vortex stepped up to the plate to take care of its customers in the wake of the Liberty Optics fiasco, I decided that's a company I can support. I guarantee no other optics company...

Vortex vs Swarovski vs Zeiss vs Leika bins (~8x42)

To the OP Steves13, the best advice I can give is that you have to try them yourself and see what your eyes like and ergonomics fit with your facial structure.

Here's one I took through an Athlon Ares 15-45x spotting scope at approximately 700 yards. I found them through my 8x42 SLC's

A Zeiss Conquest HD on steroids.

He always tries to baffle us with BS. Problem with that strategy is that most everyone here has caught on to his tactics, which are laughable. The dude has become a clownshow.

A Zeiss Conquest HD on steroids.

I'd bet money these will be for sale within 3 months. Nice regurgitated pics Dennis. I've got some taken through my Meopta S2, should I post them in this Conquest and SLC thread?

Vortex Razor HD country of manufacture

I would think so regrading the UHD. They're very similar to some Blaser, Maven, and Sig, models.
