    Theres no velcro tab but its so tight it does not move and its silent. The bins are covered to protect them from being scratched as is the glass.

    In the end I got a an op tech bino pouch from amazon its a tight fit but covers the bins and is easy to fold n pocket the next size up would be better but it will do

    This all sounds very strange to me I sent a grey pair of 8x42 sf I bought cheaply second hand for a repair/service to the focus (there was a little play in it ) they came back perfect with brand new BLACK armour ? I now realise just how lucky I was but it seems more than a little inconsistent...

    There seems very little usefull stuff on most of the optics pages we all have different perceptions of optics.... bound too as we all have different eyes but how so many seem to have enough money to compare so many expensive bins amazes me.

    I find it difficult to close the case with the strap fitted so to me it is useless. I do alot of walking and would rather keep my bins protected and clean with something like carson binoarmour than leave them to possible damage from thorns, falls and the elements I would struggle to replace...

    Does anyone in the UK know of a suitable case for zeiss 8 x 42 sf binoculars they could slip in and out of easily when using in woodland and such because the case supplied with them is of no use whatsoever once the strap is fitted IMHO. Though of course I may be missing something at this price...
