    Tricky Texan Terns!

Two pictures from late April, Cove Harbor, Aransas Bay, TX. They are both of the of the same tern. I can't find a match for this I'm happy with. My best guess is Forster's tern but I'm not sure is it common?. Wings are dark and nape of neck is not white. Any ideas? Simon

    Birding near Aarhus?

I'm off to Aarhus to a conference at the start of November. I've managed to tack an extra day on at the end to have a look around. Interested in any Nature reserve or opportunity to see a bit of the countryside. I found this link on an earlier thread: http://www.linander.dk/stig/birds_e.htm...

Hello - and can you help me Id this?

Thanks for the well wishes and the id - glad to find out what it was.. The pictures were taken at Frampton, which is very close to Slimbridge. Hope the bird didn't escape from there. I looked at their blog to see if they'd seen any too and found this one for a couple of weeks later. Looks like...

Hello - and can you help me Id this?

I'm fairly new to this birdwatching and until recently was more of an accidental birdwatcher. On holiday I've always made the effort to see anything nature related, like a two mile walk out to Keana point on Oahu to see a Laysan Albatross colony - which was brilliant . But since a visit to...
