    Help - LXL - are they really just a lighter LX

    Yes Luke, the LXL's are really just lighter LX's. I got water in my LX's that I'd had for 5 years, and Nikon replaced them with the LXL. They are about 6 ounces lighter I think (for 10x42), and it's a world of difference. Optically I don't see any noticeable differences between new and old...
