    Day-flying Moth from Italy (2011)

    Hi, I have never got around to identifying this small moth (no more than 2cm). It looked very dark when flying but there is some pattern apparent when it is stationary. It was seen in an upland area in the north of the country in May. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Dave.
