    Thanks very much - having now done some research on Google (!) I think the Rattling Cisticola is right - there is an image on Google that has the same undertail markings. So unless anyone has anyone else to add, I think I'll name it that! Thanks folks r2didi2

    That looks mighty similar. I thought it was a greenbul when I saw that section of Stevenson & Fanshawe's Birds of East Africa. However confusingly the picture in there doesn't have the yellow on the primaries. However, your photo does seem to show this. Thanks very much for sharing. Didi
