    Should I upgrade D70 to D200?

I made the change from D70 to D200 in february and do not regret it. The D200 is far better in my opinion. I use the 80-400VR and in its focusing speed performance I have noticed no real practical improvment - it is slooow. The hunting of focus drives me nuts and due to focus hunting I delete...

    Acessories: Portable Photo Storage/Viewer

I'm thinking of purchasing a portable photo storage (preferably with a viewer). My memory cards (total of 2.5 GB) will cover for most of my one day shoots, but if I go for a longer trip I would need to carry a laptop with me so that I could move the pics to the laptops hard disc. Now, a...

which lens, nikon/sigma on d200 -help!

I have D200 (previously had D70) using nikon vr 80-400mm as my main lens for birding. Tried a 1.4x teleconverter with this combination and it does not work (very hard to get properly focused pics). I'm saving money for big prime lens - more than likely Nikon's 300mm 2.8 VR + 2.0x teleconverter...

    GPS and D200, cabling

Had finally time to connect the necessary cables. As shown in the attached pics it looks and is a mess - but it works.
