Texas Birding at lower Rio Grande Valley

A D800 at last
The results lead me to wonder at which point it is worth having a 2.0TC. Looks to me that with the pixel density of the D800 you still have lots of data to render a great image when cropping. Once again thanks heaps for sharing; helping me (and numerous others I'm sure) come to grips with all... -

Turquoise colour cast??
Thanks nirofo; I used Lightroom to publish to flickr and it converts to sRGB colour porfile. However, just in case, I saved to jpg and uploaded manually ~~ same result. The diff is so slight that I've decided it is just one of "Them there internet thing-A-ma-Gigs". cheers Paul -

Thanks for the positive comments folks. Digishooter, one of our local jays thinks he's an osprey, has fooled me once or twice and I live in an area that boasts over 40 osprey nests within 30 miles. No wonder the Jays mimic them.- orca
