EL 8.5x42 vs. NL 8x32 - only pair

NL Pures are amazing there is a reason why they are best. However dropping to a 32 will inevitably have an effect (Dawn and Dusk). I tried the 10x32 NL Pure's the other day and they were very light (to me) and great to look through. I expect you could walk around with them without any weight...

Swarovski EL vs Zeiss Victory SF

Yeah I am luckily by a binocular shop which has a large meadow area attached to it so you get to look at various birds and other objects which are within the area giving you a good idea of distances and detail levels :)

Swarovski EL vs Zeiss Victory SF

This is the key point really you can read and watch a lot on the internet but 30 minutes looking through them all side by side and you will know where your money is going 🙂

Swarovski EL vs Zeiss Victory SF

I owned the Zeiss Victory SF 8x42 for a couple of years and they are truly lovely binoculars. legitimately if you can’t afford the NL pures i think the SF’s in 8x will give you the best. I upgraded to the NL Pure 10x42 and they are amazing but I would have hung on to the SFs too if I could have...

    Hides and Watching sites

Hi Guys, I was just wondering if there was a good website somewhere which lists some Hides and Locations in and around Cheltenham and Gloucestershire. Swarovski ATX/STX vs Kowa 88A/S

All good food for thought, I hadn't considered covering flocks of birds I had just assumed I would do that using bins but another thing to consider :) I am assessing some of the second hand options when it comes to some of the more expensive gear at the moment to see how well they have been...

    Swarovski ATX/STX vs Kowa 88A/S

Yes it’s a worrying trend from what I have read there are quite a few that have run into quality issues and that’s just on this forum. It makes me think that purchasing in person might be the best option to try and avoid such an issue. Ultimately just because the demo unit you try is great it...

    Swarovski ATX/STX vs Kowa 88A/S

Well just got back from the store (actually still on the train coming back) but I can safely say I learned a lot during that session. In summary I tried the Kowa 883 and the Kowa 88a then on the Swarovski side I tried the ATS in 80 the ATX in 85 and the ATX in 95. In terms of a comparison I...

    Swarovski ATX/STX vs Kowa 88A/S

Hi Guys, Thought I would ask those who have had a chance to look through these which one they preferred. Obviously observations between similar sizes are going to provide the most accurate comparisons e.g. 85 vs 88 and 95 vs 99. However any experience would be appreciated I would be using it to...
