Thanks, and please remind me of what scope you use!

    35mm film vs digital

Oh, man! Film does not come close to modern digital cameras, and I was pretty interested in holding onto film for a long time. Of course I don’t know what your budget permits, but there should be plenty of decent point-and-shoot digital cameras (not DSLRs!) in the three-figure range, with zoom...

Digiscoping with Olympus E-M1 mark iii.

Thank you. If digiscoping was a priority, would you modify your recommendation?

    Mirrorless camera help?

Thanks, again. The reasonable conclusion for me is to buy a scope if I want to observe distant birds and perhaps I will eventually try photography through the scope.

    Mirrorless camera help?

Nooch, I am your opposite - I have a very lightweight Olympus O-M1 Mark iii camera and am interested in paring that with a scope. I know another birder who is pretty committed to Olympus and he has a Swarovski with a Swarovski-made adapter for his cameras. I am pretty sure that Swarovski makes...

    iPhone 14 Pro Digiscoping Review

Hello, everyone. I just joined this forum because I had been looking for information about digiscoping. An interest in eventually trying to digiscope is what lead me to buy the 14 pro and I see from the prior posters that it's a viable approach. Now, the next thing is a scope and I thought...

    Hi, folks!

Just registered, living on the Mississippi Flyway, which gives me a front row seat for spring and fall migrations for all sorts of birds - warblers, raptors, wading birds and waterfowl included. All in all, a nice feature of retirement. Not the sort who will drive everywhere/anywhere to see a...
