    Unfortunately, Kahles doesn't include a bag with the Helia S 8x42 and the carrying strap is thin, narrow and not very comfortable. That's why I bought a neoprene strap from Zeiss which is much more comfortable. The Helia S with the Zeiss belt comes in a bag from DDopics. The bag fits 100%.

    I only knew the leather/loden belts from Niggeloh. Due to the color of the Helia S, not every strap will fit. I liked the neoprene strap from Leica (brown or black) but it costs around €65.     @ jan... The way I see it, everyone shops at Kamakura and the look is similar. Kite did not purchase a lotus effect coating for the 8x42 binoculars. DDoptics did this. This partly explains the price difference.

    Where can I find the serial number on the MM4 60 and the SLDv3 eyepiece? So far I'm very happy with the combination. I just had to replace the tripod. Nice clear picture, no mushrooms and available locally for 550 euros.

    The Sirius tripod has now arrived. When folded up, the ball head is no longer than the legs. Metal tips on the legs can be turned out. With the Opticron MM4 60 it looks good and the price was very good too. There are no wooden tripods for this price or in the small length of 41cm?!

    Ich werde es auf der bhp-Website versuchen. Ich verwende den Arca Swiss Adapter/Platte, weil sich das Spektiv einfach, sicher und schnell abnehmen lässt. Bei einem kleinen Missgeschick (beim Lösen der Schraube) ist mir das Spektiv heruntergefallen.
