    Despite both growing up and still living on the North Wales coast I've still yet to see a Puffin here... This is with regular trips to South Stack on Anglesey. Maybe this year will be the one!

    South stack is great and definitely worth a visit in the summer months. I also like to tie in a trip to Cemlyn (not too far away on the North of Anglesey) for the Tern colony whenever I visit.

    Up at Findhorn late this afternoon and spotted a single swift around the marina. Are there normally stragglers this late in the year around here?
