    122 - Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 on Long Bank Marsh, couldn't see it from roof when it was on deck.was on nearest pool,but obscured by banking. Saw it as it flew back towards Beacon Ponds. second garden record.

    I wasn't here yesterday, so potentially missed Golden Oriole,Montagu's Harrier and several Black Terns. Oriole was still around this morning but,unlike yesterday,never came anywhere near mine. Still managed four new for year 112 - Yellow Wagtail, 1 flew over garden 113 - Red Kite, 1 blogging...

    111 - Scaup, 2 on Humber an Osprey flew over when I was 100 metres from garden. I could have run back and probably seen it from garage roof,but there will probably be another chance

    After several days of strong,cold northerlies,today was a calmer day and an obvious increase in migrants. Mostly Willow Warblers and a few Blackcaps. New for year 106 - Cuckoo, 1 calling on LBM 107 - Tree Pipit, 1 flew north

    When the wind eased off a bit this afternoon, a Blackcap - 98,and a Willow Warbler - 99,appeared in garden.

    a few more this afternoon 94 - Wheatear, 1 LBM 95 - LRP, 1 LBM 96 - Siskin, 2 on feeders 97 - Sand Martin, 1 over Kilnsea Wetlands also first butterflies, 2 Peacocks and a Small White, and my earliest by far Hummingbird Hawk-moth.
