    thanks Lambo was looking on google but after i had posted thought it may be a hobby :) glad I got a shot on the moors there's a few around the cliffs near us but the moor location had me stumped cheers

    Thanks Delia I actually manages a picture of a Kite a few weeks ago, not great quality as the bird was way off but chuffed to see one as they are not too common up here altho there is a few breeding pairs I believe will post it now :)

    Thanks Delia the thing thats thrown me was the way it flew off I only got a few seconds to see it as the car was facing the wrong way but it took of above the ground and and moved at pace around 1m above ground and across the moor I cant be sure but it was more like a kestrel type of flight if...

    BIRD IDENTIFICATION

    Hi all we are having a bit of a debate trying to identify this bird, any help appreciated, the photo was taken in Yorkshire and it has the setting sun casting on it so the colors may be more golden than should be, My thoughts were a kite my friends say buzzard and another says harrier perhaps thanks
