    I thought the first one was a Large Wainscot but it doesn't have the dots so could it be a Lyme Grass? I thought the second one was a Heart & Club but I don't have the confidence to be sure Could someone either confirm or correct me please

    Beetle - North Norfolk, Uk

    Could someone ID this beetle for me please. It was in a moth trap about 20m from a pond so could be a water beetle. It seemed quite large - about 35-40mm. Any help welcomed.
