    First ID was a Wren however having watched its behaviour as moved around the tree upside down made me wonder, pity I could not get a picture from a better angle, beak seems longer and thinner and feet bigger - over to the hive mind !

    I am reasonably sure this is a Bittern

    Following yesterday's advice I will risk it and say I am reasonably sure this is a Bittern, taken form a long way off with a 700mm lens HH then cropped heavily

    This little beauty almost walked over my feet as I hid to photograph a Spoonbill on the marshes at a river mouth. Whilst I am sure its a Pipit, google says Rock, my best efforts with RSPB and Collins is Meadow...... over to the hive mind, as ever trying to improve my ID's
